The Chameleon UGS 2.0 Universal Guying System provides portable mechanical support for vertical antennas and masts. Its three-point guying arrangement is designed to keep a supported antenna upright, reduce movement and limit mechanical stress during portable operation. The lightweight system can be deployed by one operator in less than 10 minutes.

Compatibility

The Delta Guy Ring is documented for the Chameleon MPAS 2.0, MPAS Lite, Basic Vertical, SS-17, SS-25 and CFM-16. It can also guy portable vertical antennas or masts up to 9.5 mm [3/8 in] in diameter. The Mast Guy Ring is documented for the Chameleon CFM-34 and CFM-34 HD and for mast sections measuring 24–26 mm [0.94–1.02 in]. Performance Notes and Setup Guidance

Choose a suitable base, sleeve, tripod, stake or mount for the terrain and supported load. Space the three guy lines evenly around the support. Apply tension to every line so the antenna is vertical with little play, but do not pull the lines taut. Recheck stability and line tension when wind or loading changes. Keep the support, antenna, guy lines and feed line safely away from power lines.
